IN the four weeks to May 20, there were 170 lo­cal prop­erty sales across houses, units and land, a de­crease of 16 per cent over the pe­riod.

Com­pared to the same time last year, sales are lower by 18 per cent.

The over­all Perth mar­ket sales have in­creased to 1830, a rise of 3 per cent over the four-week pe­riod but 11 per cent lower than the same time last year.

Cool­bellup tops the list for the high­est num­ber of sales at 13.

Prop­er­ties avail­able for sale in the lo­cal area have in­creased by 1 per cent over the last four weeks, 9 per cent lower than the same time last year.

To­tal list­ings in the Greater Perth re­gion have de­creased by 2 per cent over the four-week pe­riod, 2 per cent lower than the same time last year.

The av­er­age time to sell in the lo­cal area has in­creased by eight days to 82 days for the quar­ter to April 2019.

Reiwa mem­bers re­ported 367 to­tal prop­er­ties (houses and units) leased for the four-week pe­riod, an in­crease of 8 per cent over the last four weeks, 18 per cent lower than the same time last year.

List­ings in the Fre­man­tle/Cock­burn Gazette area have risen by 4 per cent in the four-week pe­riod, but are 13 per cent lower than the same time last year.

The over­all mar­ket has seen list­ings rise 4 per cent over the pe­riod but are 18 per cent lower than the same time last year.

The over­all me­dian weekly rent for the lo­cal area for the quar­ter to April is $380/week, $10 higher than the quar­ter to April 2018.
