Li­brary to close for build­ing up­grades

SEVILLE Grove Li­brary will close its doors on June 23 as up­grades to the build­ing be­gin.

Ar­madale Mayor Henry Zelones said the re­de­vel­op­ment would mean a bet­ter Seville Grove Li­brary for res­i­dents to en­joy.

“The up­grades will in­clude im­proved meet­ing spa­ces for com­mu­nity use and ad­di­tional com­puter fa­cil­i­ties with a view to in­crease train­ing op­por­tu­ni­ties and im­prove lit­er­acy and job readi­ness in the com­mu­nity,” he said.

“We ap­pre­ci­ate the com­mu­nity’s pa­tience dur­ing the tem­po­rary clo­sure and we are look­ing for­ward to wel­com­ing both old and new mem­bers to the li­brary when it re­opens.”

The li­brary is ex­pected to re­open in the first half of 2019. Res­i­dents can use Ar­madale and Kelm­scott li­brary ser­vices in the in­terim.
