When lux­ury jew­ellery de­signer An­gela Ge­or­giou wanted to grow beyond her cur­rent cus­tomer reach, she tasked brand­ing agency Clout with cre­at­ing a more dis­tinct po­si­tion­ing and iden­tity to help her stand out.

Ge­or­giou’s Greek Cypriot her­itage in­spires her work – she re-imag­ines found and per­sonal an­tiq­ui­ties, turn­ing them into un­con­ven­tional, con­tem­po­rary pieces of jew­ellery – so the stu­dio cen­tred their new brand­ing on the no­tion of ‘the past re-imag­ined’.

“We de­vel­oped a lino-cut il­lus­tra­tive style in­spired by an­cient Greek mythol­ogy, where we de­picted god­desses wear­ing pho­tographed pieces of her jew­ellery – the idea lit­er­ally high­light­ing the old with the new,” ex­plains cre­ative di­rec­tor Michael Smith.

“Our favourite part was see­ing the il­lus­tra­tive look evolve from ini­tial sketches into beau­ti­ful lino-cut prints that were then com­bined with pho­tog­ra­phy to cre­ate the de­sired look that we were aim­ing for.”
