B&B Studio has created a vibrant identity for Fix8: a kombucha (fermented tea) brand that works around the idea of being addicted to something in a positive way. “When we started looking at the kombucha category it was clear that it had failed to find a unique design language,” strategy director Lisa Desforges explains. “Brands were referencing other categories to try and explain kombucha, but only ended up making vague comparisons.”
The studio used the idea of ‘positive addiction’ to create a design that captures the kombucha experience by referencing the buzz it brings.
“It’s a visual language that expresses what kombucha is about without feeling functional or descriptive in a clunky way,” says Desforges.
