Leftfield Techno £15

Computer Music - - Reviews / Mini Reviews -

Sitting at the grittier, more minimalist end of its titular genre, Leftfield Techno makes heavy use of both modular and regular synths for not only basses and melodics, but also drums and percussion – the stylistic authenticity is palpable. And despite being one of Sample Magic’s cheaper White Label releases, it sets out a surprisingly expansive stall beyond the rhythm section essentials, with loads of pads, textures and FX loops to get your teeth into, not to mention 15 juicy ‘music’ mini construction kits. A basement bargain. samplemagic.com
