We scored version 1 of Stefano Maccerelli’s ‘Electro Vocal Instrument’ for Kontakt 10/10 in 257, and the sequel takes it up several notches with its new features and sounds. The sample library now weighs in at 25GB (up from 18.5GB), the majority of the new material fuelling the overhauled EVI Synth 2.0 engine (gaining three more LFOs and Snapshot presets), but 600MB of it being new vocal phrases for the three Vocal NKIs, which also see the addition of two new True Legato articulations, amongst other things.
