Each of AudioSwift’s four modes divides the trackpad into a number of zones, which are tapped and/ or dragged to trigger MIDI notes in various ways, output up to nine MIDI CCs (with three fingers) as an XY pad, or operate the mixers of Live, Logic Pro X, Pro Tools, Cubase, Studio One and Reaper. The app itself is beautifully designed, if a bit confusing at first, and the MIDI triggering and control modes alone make it well worth the low price of admission.
