Slate Digital plugins

Steven Slate used NAMM 2019 as a launchpad for no less than three new additions to Slate Digital’s Everything Bundle of plugin effects, along with an expansion pack for their Virtual Microphone System (VMS).

The first is Lustrous Plates, which “combines dynamic spectral capture with fusion synthesis to create the most stunning plate reverb you’ve ever heard”.

Overloud TH-U, meanwhile, is an immense guitar amp modelling and processing setup.

Finally, Slate Drum Gate is the first of two noise gates, said to “get clean and easy results on even the most horrific tracks!”.

In addition to this, The Blackbird Mics expansion adds five of Nashville producer John McBride’s favourite tube mics to VMS.

Lustrous Plates, Overloud TH-U and Slate Drum Gate are due within the next month or so, and Blackbird Mics is available now.
