GET HYPER WITH CM

How to use JMG Sound’s amazing freebie, Hyperspace CM, with our handy guide

-

Most reverb plugins deliver enough flexibility that two or three carefully chosen models will cover most of your requirements. Inevitably, then, any new option needs to earn its place on your hard drive. JMG Sound’s Hyperspace might well do that, as when we first encountered the full version ( 275 9/10) there was clearly something rather unique about it, not least the fact we could easily tweak its settings at algorithmic level and then modify this with plenty of familiar reverb parameters. The result is a plugin perfectly capable of run of the mill spaces, but also great at creative and transformative spaces.

No surprise, then, that we’re super excited to bring you our very own exclusive version – Hyperspace CM. Conceived with the plugin’s developer JMG Sound and available exclusively on the covermount DVD or via FileSilo.co.uk, this is the only truly free version of this plugin you can get. It features the latest version 1.5 graphics (with easily re-scalable window), and is built using the same processing engine.

Features include three algorithm modes, nine regular reverb parameters (including reverb Time, Early/Late balance and Filter) and further dynamic and effect processing. The modes can also be adjusted using the Character XY Pad. If you want to know a little bit more about the plugin’s conception we’ve also got the inside story from the developer Jason Gibbins (p57).

If you like what you hear and want more flexibility, more creative options and a tonne more presets, then check out the full version of Hyperspace. There’s even a 50% voucher, which is valid until the end of June 2020.
