Over the space of just a minute he effortlessly moves from an atmospheric intro through sequenced segue to dramatic guitar-like stabs and huge percussive sound effects before rising strings take you into the main ‘commentary’ section. A regular rock rhythm takes you through to the dramatic finale and you realise you’ve traversed classical, electronica and rock – to name a few – in just 60 seconds. It’s not the kind of music you put on to relax and unwind – unless you like having a high blood pressure – but it does capture your attention and sit with the visuals brilliantly. As it should. The second track – impressively for Coca Cola – shows yet another side of Reev’s talent and sound again getting the message across in a short time ( just 15 seconds this time) with a change of direction suited to the client’s needs.
