If you’re taking your first tentative steps on the keyboard trail, Skoove has interactive beginner and intermediate courses, after which you can continue taking lessons either in a pop or classical direction. The software’s ‘listen, learn, play’ approach helps you quickly master new playing skills, plus there’s basic advice on how to improvise, all with a healthy emphasis on the importance of good technique. The interface is well laid-out and easy to get to grips with for young and old alike, and the system recognises either MIDI or conventional keyboards.
