Spitfire go Dutch (and then double Dutch)

-

Spitfire Audio’s release schedule seems to have become so frenzied that their press release writer has clearly given up using the full stop button, just to save time. After way too many words without a pause on their latest, we eventually discover that Sparkling Woodwinds and Legendary Low Strings are two new cut-price titles in the Spitfire/Abbey Road partnership. To ‘quote’ the PR, and to stress, this is just half the original sentence: “they allow for wonderfully-realistic performances and also include other articulations so users can create a customised palette which will seamlessly work with(in) Abbey Road One: Orchestral Foundations or equally well on their own, as well as working with any other orchestral library — including Spitfire Audio’s entrylevel LABS series of free sample-based virtual instruments”. That’s Half. The Original. Sentence. They cost – and this much is clear – £49 each (a great price for the Spitfire name).
