Kilohearts add subs value
Kilohearts, have announced extras for their Subscription service, and it could be the monthly scheme we’ve all been waiting for.
For $9.99 a month you get the entire Kilohearts Ecosystem of (currently) 39 plugins. However, you now also get all six of the company’s Content Banks (which include collections of presets for their plugins, as well as samples, wavetables and LFO shapes), and further Content Banks will be added to the sub at no extra charge.
Kilohearts plugins include the mighty Phaseplant synth, Faturator and Disperser effects. You can use them all as individual effects in your DAW or combined within Snapin hosts such as Snapheap and Multipass (also included). All plugins can still be bought individually or as part of the Toolbox ULTIMATE bundle for $499, although this does not include the Content Banks included in the subscription.
One last great inclusion is that for every 12 months you subscribe, you get $100 in Subscriber Rewards, which can be put towards buying up all the plugins you need so you can then eventually cancel your subscription. If unclaimed, Subs Rewards will increase by a further $100 every 12 months too. You can even pause and restart your subscription at any time without losing your Subscriber Rewards progress. Sounds like a decent alternative to rent-to-buy.
