It might come as no surprise if you’ve read this far, that the news has been quite stressful to write this month. So, to finish, here’s an easy one: a free piano, care of SampleScience. It is, they say, “a fully multisampled acoustic piano recorded hot for a warm, softly saturated sound. Ideal for ‘rougher’ music genres like rock, lo-fi hip-hop, jazz improv, etc.” Great, eh? Good story about free stuff; what could be easier? OK, there is one fly in the ointment: it won’t work on MacOS Catalina upwards (there’s a surprise). But whatever, we’ve finished on a relative high, anyway.
