“Resoundingly dirty” is how Softube describe their new Tape Echoes plugin (although we thought they were having a go at us as we emerged from yet another lockdown). Tape Echoes is modelled on a vintage tape delay and delivers “classic tape sounds and massive amounts of wow, flutter, drop-outs, and more”. Choice inclusions for extra filth include a Drive & Dirt feature for “wobbly, glitchy, distorted delay” and Just Dirt to take your pristine recordings down to a lo-fi and gritty level.
