It didn’t really set the world on fire when it was released, but Pulsar was our and many other computer musician’s first introduction to a desktop studio with – get this – software versions of hardware mixers, instruments and effects, all on screen! And not only that, it paved the way for hardware-accelerated systems from the likes of TC (Powercore) and UA. OK it might not fit the ‘best’ definition but it was certainly ground-breaking. Look, we liked it OK? And amazingly the tech lives on as SCOPE. Check it out at… http://scope.zone
