“The Bright Lights, Big City theme brings you soundtrack elements for cop shows and criminal games; from smooth jazz noodlings to 70s/80s theme tunes to cruisin’ electro beats. The collection is made up of loops and lines in four tempos (75,

95, 110 and 130bpm), guitar/keys/synth chord oneshots, eight multisampled instruments and five drum/percussion kits.

“The Loops Etc tempo folders are split into beats, bass guitar, guitar and synth n keys. Four keys

(A, C, E & D) have been used to keep the lines as easily related as possible, and many of them were created in accompaniment to each other.

“The guitars and basses were recorded with any number of pedals. Many of the drum FX loops were processed by reamping through the pedals using the Little Labs Redeye in reamp mode.

The Jazzy Ripper, Filter Ripper, and Rhodes piano multisamples are made up of two velocity layers, as is the Slap Stingray, though this has the ‘thumb’ hits assigned to velocity values 1 to 100 and the ‘pop’ triggered by the 101 to 127 range.”
