Elementary my dear Zero
Elements Modern Scoring Synth is a new Kontakt instrument aimed at soundtrack and cinematic producers and sound designers, and is described as “stupendously large”. We’re not ones to boast but we’ve seen bigger instruments than its 23GB girth but there are 8,500 samples, an arp, effects and more, all plumbed around a three-layer-based engine with “thousands of sound possibilities”. It uses samples of acoustic and synth instruments at its core and Zero-G add “we also used an underwater mic to sample environments from a different perspective”. A wet one then. It’s £80 and available now.
