The surplus of high-quality effects which are applicable to either the attack or sustain of any audio signal is vast.
Any combo of the following can be tried within the dual signal chains: Chorus, Compressor, Convolution, Delay, Enhancer, EQ, Flanger, Limiter, Lo-Fi, Phaser, Pitch Shifter, Reverb, Saturation, Stereo Tools, Tremolo and Vibrato. Of particular note is the shimmering Chorus and the hugely satisfying
Delay, which features a surprisingly robust set of tools to carve out your time, feedback, pong and low/high cutting.
Saturation features a slew of approaches including Symmetric and Hard Clipper types, while Stereo Tools allows for careful mid/side processing. It’s really a matter of how these effects work in parallel – and on which elements of the transient – that will bring out the most amazing results.
