The Cyclick/One Note Tape Multisamples folder contains five multisampled instruments – Bass Clarinet, Concert Zither, Fan Organ, Horn and Horn Soft – plus Kontakt patches. To create each, a single note was recorded to cassette, then repitched and echoed for a vintage, tape-spliced sound.

Cyclick’s folder contains seven multisampled instruments in total (the five mentioned earlier, plus two signal generator patches), and these have all been funnelled through an arpeggiator and effects to create the BPM-categorised loops in the Treated Tape Instruments Loops folder.

You’ll find more sonic oddities in the Groove Criminals collection. The Tape Delay folder, for example, contains 44 lo-fi tape loops that warp and bend in pitch, while the Radio Signals folder is full of analogue-processed white noise and radio static reminiscent of primitive sci-fi soundtracks.
