The sound of ABBA, Roxette, The Hives and more… in your DAW!

Softube have announced a reverb plugin that gives you the sound of Atlantis Studios, a Swedish recording facility which has been used by some iconic names like Swedish stars ABBA, Roxette, The Hives, Robyn, Ghost, The Cardigans, and Max Martin. Several non Swedes (but still huge stars) Lenny Kravitz, Quincy Jones, and Green Day, have also decamped to Stockholm just to experience the studio.

The new plugin, Atlantis Chambers, focuses on the reverb chambers in the studio which, according to Softube “create the best-sounding reverb you didn’t know you’d already heard”.

“Fans of ABBA know how great their mixes were and how huge those vocals sounded in all that great reverb mixed at Atlantis Studios,” adds seven-times-Grammy -winning engineer Michael Brauer.

The plugin, which certainly looks the vintage part, is out now and retails for €199 with an intro offer of €159.
