1. Getting started

First you need to get your personal serial number. Go to https:// www.filesilo.co.uk/ComputerMusic. Head to the current issue (this one) where you’ll find instructions in a text document called ‘Your Free Plugin Instructions’. Head to the link, follow the instructions and you will get your serial number via email.

To download and install IK Multimedia plugins, you need a user account and the Product Manager software. If you don’t already have an account, use this link to create one: https://www.ikmultimedia.com/userarea/

Next, grab the Product Manager application. You’ll find this here https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/productmanager/. Download and install the correct version for your platform, then open the application and log into your account.

Armed with your serial number from Step 1, you can now register your copy of EQP-1A. Click on the Manage My Products tab in IK’s Product Manager and then select the Register Product option and enter your serial number.

EQP-1A exists inside T-RackS, so your serial number will have added T-RackS 5 to your Available Products list. From this list, you can select the installation option and once this has all completed, click on Authorise. The green ticks will indicate that everything is working as planned.

Finally, head to your DAW or launch the standalone version of T-RackS. When you load up the TR5 EQP-1A plugin, it should be fully authorised. You’ll find all of the other T-RackS plugins listed – they won’t be authorised for use but you can purchase and authorise them by launching Custom Shop from within the plugin.
