PRESIDENT NIXON!?

Cynthia Nixon is the latest celebrity to break the internet! Known for her role as the careerdriven Miranda Hobbes on Sex and the City, Nixon recently announced on Twitter that she’s set to run for governor of New York. But not everyone welcomed her foray into politics. Former New York City Council speaker Christine Quinn, has since branded her an ‘unqualified lesbian’. Nixon responded, ‘[Christine] was technically right. I don’t have my certificate from the Department of Lesbian

Affairs. But in my defence, there is a lot of paperwork involved.’ Hey, if Trump can do it...

SOUR HEART

Author Jenny Zhang won over the Cosmo office and Lena Dunham with her novel Sour Heart – a collection of stories that explores the crazy experience of adolescence, through the eyes of Chinese-American girls growing up in New York City.

Now, Zhang is embarking on a tour Down Under, and will be speaking at the Sydney Writers’ Festival, which runs from April 30 – May 6 2018. Grab tickets at Swf.org.au.

RUNNING FOR GOVERNOR? SUCH A MIRANDA THING TO DO!

RYAN SECRETS Ryan Seacrest has been accused of subjecting his former E! News stylist Suzie Hardy to ‘unwanted sexual aggression’. However, an investigation by E! deemed the claims ‘completely baseless’.
