Flinders Island Food and Crayfish Festival, April 14th & 15th

Aside from an emerging gin industry, this wild Bass Strait island has excellent fresh produce on offer such as delicious crayfish, salt grass lamb, fruit and vegetables. A long lunch will be held in a spectacula­r (yet to be announced) location on the 14th, with guest chefs David Moyle, Matt Stone, Jo Barrett, James Viles and Mark Labrooy gathering the bounty of the island to match to a selection of Tasmanian wines.
