Pro­fes­sional and technical ser­vices, con­struc­tion and agri­cul­ture fol­low. Agri­cul­tural pro­duc­tion in the rich Brunswick Val­ley in­cludes dairy, hor­ti­cul­ture, fruit and veg­eta­bles and beef. The By­ron Shire is com­mit­ted to be­com­ing the first zero-emissions com­mu­nity within Australia by 2025. Coun­cil works closely with the lo­cal cham­ber and busi­nesses to help achieve pos­i­tive re­sults and has two com­mit­tees: the strate­gic busi­ness panel and busi­ness roundtable.
