New Norfolk is 35 kilometres or about half an hour’s drive north-west of Hobart via the Lyell Highway, which is the main route to the West Coast of Tasmania. It’s two hours and 20 minutes’ drive south of Launceston. FLYING IN? Flights to Hobart are available from all major Australian cities with the four main airlines. From there, New Norfolk is 45-minute drive from Hobart International Airport. TRANSPORT: There are regular bus services to Hobart, as well as a service to Strahan and the west coast.
