CO-FOUNDER OF SADDLER & CO LEATHER GOODS BRAND, 32 This mother of five, based in Dubbo NSW, looks for quality and practicality in fashion.

What do you love about living in the country? The space to breathe, the community spirit and opportunity to grow resilience. Describe your style. I am drawn to a natural, clean style balanced with a timeless aesthetic. What’s your typical everyday outfit? A white linen top paired with slim jeans or chinos. My daily outfit reflects my need for beauty but also practicality that can meet the demands of motherhood and business. Wardrobe essentials? A curation of quality pieces that can mix and match. White cotton shirts, linen tops and shift dresses, jeans and leather sandals or boots. Do you have any favourite clothing labels? I have a stock of beautiful pieces by Eva’s Sunday, which I wear on an almost daily basis. I also gravitate towards Once Was Lost, Country Road, Ollie and Max, The Shanty Corporation and Elka Collective. Where do you love to shop? I like local shops Frank and Enid and St Louis Boutique. If I can’t visit stores in person, I love to browse their worlds through Instagram. What are your go-to beauty products? I have a very simple beauty regimen and lately I’ve been using the Parsley Seed facial range from Aesop. I also use make-up from Estée Lauder, Napoleon and Sienna nail polish. Any favourite accessories? Oxidised silver earrings from Alison Jackson. I usually add beautiful, functional items as my accessories such as a scarf, one of our Italian leather clutches, or a pair of bespoke sandals made for Saddler & Co by Capri Positano Sandals. What do you never leave home without? My leather ‘Market’ tote: it holds all the essentials to get me through school drop-off to work and errands in town. Any favourite books you’re reading? I love creative and photographic books to inspire my work. Reading a novel is a luxury these days. What’s your best style advice? Keep simplicity and authenticity as your key. Be guided by your instincts rather than fashion, so that you feel confident and at ease. > Visit saddlerandco.com.au
