For this cover, we visited the Soul of Gerringong farmhouse and were met by local kelpie, Red, who had wandered up with his owner Josh from Fern Street Kiosk (page 42).

ON THE COVER Simone and Ben Mathews of Bam Constructions bought this 1880 cottage near Werri Beach on the NSW South Coast last year and have spent months renovating and restoring it.
