About 30 minutes’ drive inland from Coffs Harbour on the mid-coast of NSW, this town sits on the beautiful Bellinger River, in a valley of emerald green at the base of the Great Dividing Range. The Hammond & Wheatley Commercial Emporium building, finished in 1909, is one of the few examples of this commercial building type left: pop in to admire the pressed metal ceilings and cedar joinery.
