It was the expansive views of both the sea and the neighbouring green hills that captured Amber and Justin Phillips’ attention when they saw this beach shack at Flinders on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula. The couple bought the house at auction on the day they first saw it, then set about turning it into their dream weekender. Rooms were given a fresh coat of white paint and the upstairs plywood floorboards were polished.
