Curramulka Speed Shear, March 23rd Watch shearers show off their skills for serious prize money in this small township, 186 kilometres west of Adelaide. Highcroft, March 9th–10th This large hillside garden is terraced with rocks dug out of the paddocks. Wide paths meander through beds planted with roses, oleanders, canna, diosma, ornamental grasses, verbena, salvia, and butterfly-attracting Buddleia.
