A Taste of the Huon, March 10th–11th This popular event in Ranelagh, a half hour’s drive south of Hobart, celebrates local arts and craft, entertainm­ent, wine and produce, including berries, truffles, salmon and cherries. Ten Days on the Island, March 8th–24th Now in its 10th year, this epic statewide cultural festival plays out across three weekends through three Tasmanian heartlands, starting in Burnie in the state’s north west. The Cradle Mountain Film Festival, March 29th–31st This festival promises a weekend of wellness, film and adventure headlined by the Tasmanian-exclusive screening of Mountainfi­lm On Tour from Telluride, Colorado.
