BEGA VALLEY REGIONAL GALLERY

Located on the Far South Coast, this small gallery champions contemporary Australian art and prides itself on holding up to eight important exhibitions a year. It also hosts three major art prizes including The Shirley Hannan National Portrait Award, a biennial prize of $50,000, which was won by painter Marcus Callum in 2018. Coming up is ‘Contemporising the Modern’, an exhibition of 50 photographic works from the Murray Art Museum Albury from April 6th to June 22nd with works by Max Dupain and Olive Cotton.
