What do you love about living in the country?
We’re fortunate to live near the Macintyre River, so you’ll often find us having an early dinner on the riverbank. Henry and Eustie love fishing in the boat.
How would you describe your style?
Effortless chic. I’m all about comfort but with an edge.
Are you interested in fashion?
Absolutely! I love following fashion and the latest trends through magazines, social media and online shopping (Henry says I’m very good at that!) Deep down, I always dreamt of owning my own boutique.
Who are your style influences?
Olivia Palermo – she looks effortlessly beautiful.
I also get inspiration from everyday women. I take a bit of this and a bit of that from how everyone dresses and channel that to my own figure and style.
What’s the best style advice you’ve ever received?
Go for quality over quantity! Buying well-made pieces in high-quality material is always a better investment than a shirt that will only last two washes.
What are your wardrobe essentials?
A pair of simple leather sandals and a classic, comfortable linen blouse or dress.
What are your favourite clothing labels?
Marle, LJC Designs, Apartment Clothing, MLM Label and Zimmermann. We are so spoilt in Australia – we have so many trendsetting, edgy brands.
Where do you shop for clothing and accessories?
I love Audrey Goondiwindi, Zimmermann, Cint Boutique (Orange, NSW), Eclectic House (Inverell) and, of course, I get a lot of pieces from my store.
What are your essential beauty products?
Bobbi Brown anything – especially the Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation. I’ve become a fan of bareminerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Gel Cream, and I don’t go anywhere without my Clinique High Impact Mascara.
Do you have a favourite fragrance?
Armani Code. I’ve worn this fragrance for more than 10 years and I think I will wear it until my last day!
Do you have any favourite accessories?
My bezel diamond necklace from The Diamond Hunter, and my baroque pearl necklace from Finer Rings. And, of course, my engagement ring from Henry (also by The Diamond Hunter).
What are you reading/listening to/watching?
I can’t escape delving into an interiors book; it’s where I get inspiration for Harry and Kit. I’m also listening to Mia Freedman’s Lady Startup Stories podcast.
