Judy lives on a cattle property (up the road from her pig farm) at Mount Mercer, Vic, with her husband Tim, 65, and their beloved pets: Jack Russell Rosa; cat Tilly; horses Ellie, Bella, Rupert, Rosie, Tess and CJ; plus many chooks! (Their children, Bridget, 35, Tim, 33, and Will, 29, have left home.)

What do you love about living in the country?

I love the space, the landscape, and how real it is. I have always lived on the land. I grew up on small acreage.

What inspires you?

The people I work with, and the desire to improve and learn all the time.

How would you describe your style?

My fashion is fairly simple.

What’s the best style advice you’ve ever received?

Be true to yourself and comfortabl­e in what you wear.

What are your wardrobe essentials?

Blazers, straight black pants and great boots.

What are your favourite clothing labels?

I like Scotch & Soda, and Mos Mosh blazers.

Where do you shop for clothing and accessorie­s? Any local favourites? I usually head to Melbourne and Ballarat for clothes shopping. In Ballarat, my favourite clothing stores are Mali Lane Boutique and Endee’s Fashion.

What are your essential beauty products?

I always wear Ella Baché skincare products, and I love Payot Crème No.2 CC Crème.

Do you have a favourite fragrance?

I usually wear Chanel’s Coco Mademoisel­le.

Do you have any favourite accessorie­s?

I wear gold earrings every day.

What things in your daily routine help you keep a balanced life?

I love riding my horse. I also spend time on reflection and meditation, and I enjoy doing short yoga sessions.

What are you reading/listening to/watching?

Currently, I’m listening to a great audiobook called The 5am Club. I also enjoy listening to Miley Cyrus’s music.

What do you never leave home without?

My sunglasses and lip balm.

Where are your favourite local spots to eat?

I love The Shared Table in Buninyong, which is only 10 minutes away from home.
