Mingenew gets most rain
Mingnew has copped more rain than any other grain-belt town during March, tallying 31mm just 61km away from neighbouring town Morawa, which has had zero.
A severe tropical cyclone curving around the WA coast towards Perth had delivered little rain by Tuesday afternoon. Possible storms were forecast for Friday at Corrigin, Gnowangerup Hyden, Esperance and Ravensthorpe. The latter two could also have storms on Saturday.
March rainfall totals by Tuesday included 31mm at Mingenew, 25mm at Dudawa, 24mm at Chapman Valley, 32mm at Cascade and 27mm at Condingup.
