OVER TO YOU…
We asked our fans on Facebook, “What are your stitching resolutions for 2019?”
MOYRA BANNISTER
Say no to people who want something stitched and stitch something for myself for a change. Sounds nasty I know, but I never manage to get anything done for myself as I can’t say no to people.
KELLY KINNAIRD
To not worry if my stitching is untidy, slow or otherwise doesn’t compare to others. I am who I am and have my reasons that I go slow. With multiple diagnoses, I simply can’t stitch as neat as I want to. So it’s time to embrace and love what I can do, not despair over what I can’t.
CINDY BENNETT
My stitch resolution is reduce my stitch stash. I will finish my large King Arthur chart and intersperse it with smaller projects like bookmarks. My other stitch resolution is that I will stitch something for me.
SARAH MCKEOWN
I am determined to finish all my started projects. Currently I am organising and adding them to my account on www.stitchingly.com – can’t wait to start updating and marking off progress. The only new project I am starting is a big one which I am dividing up to create my own ‘SAL’.
KIM BOWLEY
I need to get my act together and start stitching my stash of kits. I have to finish the ones I have started and not take other people’s projects over that they don’t want to do anymore and just focus on my own.
KAREN ÇUBUK
To stitch something from each issue of the magazine for the whole year and in between (if there is time, LOL) to finish off some of my WIPs! Really determined.
