Cross Stitcher

OVER TO YOU…

-

We asked our fans on Facebook, “Do you finish one project before starting the next, or have several on the go at once?”

SARAH LUCERO I have to finish the project! I will only put one on hold to work on a gift for someone or to do some Christmas ornaments.

AMANDA LEIGH MCBRIDE I prefer to start and finish one at a time. A couple of years ago while trying to do a very large project I thought I would try multiples like other admired stitching friends do. I became frustrated as nothing is ever completed in that state. I am now picking one at a time and completing them to get caught up and feel accomplished.

JOANNA COLESHILL I have seven projects on the go – I work on a di erent one each day of the week. Some are big and some are small – it may take longer to finish them but I never get bored!

MICHELE DOE I have a ton of projects going... I think I have ‘Project ADD’... I’ll stitch a part that has my interest and then start something new. I come back and finish pics over several sessions.

MONICA RODDEY I always come within a stone’s throw of finishing one project, and only then move on to the next. But it might take me years – or never – to do the last few stitches or tiny section of backstitching on the previous project.

DANIELLE L ROWAN I work on two di erent pieces – I do mini projects during the day like cards, bookmarks and tags. Then at night-time out comes my main WIP. Even if I hate the piece it needs to be finished before I’ll move onto another one.
