MILLENNIALS – AND KIDS – TAKE TO THE RIVER
Last year, new river cruise line U by Uniworld launched The B for millennials and she’ll be joined by The A in April. Targeting younger cruisers, the two identical ships have room for 120 young passengers who like to experience the dazzling nightlife in vibrant cities such as Budapest. In Paris, U by Uniworld will offer a rooftop experience for a different view of the City of Lights. Guests can also go on a bike tour in Frankfurt or a canal cruise in Amsterdam. Life on board is lively with mixologists, international DJs and communal dining with healthy options such as miso-marinated wild salmon, vegetarian and vegan food. Meanwhile, Adventures by Disney River Cruises is targeting families with kids on sailings on the Danube and Rhine rivers. The itineraries include Disney movie nights and excursions for kids such as a pretzel party in Vilshofen, Germany or climbing the Tree Path Kopfing in Austria. Disney charters ships including AmaViola from AmaWaterways, which partners with APT in Australia.
