Oceania Riviera norovirus outbreak
d Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Vessel Sanitation Program (VSP) is investigating a third outbreak of the norovirus on board Oceania Riviera.
Fifty-two passengers have been affected on board, with specimens collected confirming positive for the gastro bug.
The voyage began on 20 Mar and is slated to end 03 Apr.
In response, Oceania Cruises and the crew aboard the ship have increased cleaning and disinfection procedures, collected samples for testing and have sent daily reports to the VSP.
