Ritz-Carlton opens books

-

RESERVATIONS are now open for the inaugural season of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, with cruises scheduled to set sail in Feb 2020.

The international luxury hotel company is building three custom-designed 190-metre yachts that accommodate up to 298 guests in 149 suites, each of which has a private terrace.

The first yacht will cruise in the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the Caribbean, Latin America, Canada and the north-eastern waters of America.

Voyages will range from seven to 10 nights, visiting ports such as Barbados, Cartagena, Bordeaux, Copenhagen, Mykonos and Portofino.

Most itineraries can be combined for back-to-back voyages that don’t repeat ports; and a 5% discount is offered for combining two or more consecutive cruises.

Journey highlights in 2020 include the christening celebration on the inaugural voyage to the Monaco Grand Prix, visiting the Edinburgh Military Tattoo and exploring the Greek Isles and Balearic Islands.

The ship will have five dining options, including a main restaurant, an Asian Fusion venue, Aqua (extra-charge a la carte menu), an outdoor grill, casual Marina Lounge and Bar, plus the Living Room Cafe and a Champagne bar.

Fares will include staff gratuities, beverages, wi-fi and use of water sports equipment.
