West High­land Sail­ing boards Le Boat

PROVIDER of self-drive boat­ing hol­i­days Le Boat has an­nounced the ac­qui­si­tion of Scot­tish com­pany West High­land Sail­ing.

The Lag­gan-based fran­chise, which has been a part­ner of Le Boat for 17 years, was founded by Ray and Mary Nor­ris in 1982 and will add a fleet of 13 yachts to Le Boat’s ex­ist­ing col­lec­tion.

“Le Boat has seen long term growth in Scot­land, in­clud­ing a 5% in­crease in visi­tors dur­ing 2018 and the West High­land Sail­ing team in Lag­gan are ex­perts on this cruis­ing re­gion... will sup­port the team to con­tinue as nor­mal, in­clud­ing the al­ready out­stand­ing lev­els of cus­tomer ser­vice,” said Ch­eryl Brown, Man­ag­ing Di­rec­tor of Le Boat.
