Viking Downton exclusive

FANS of wildly successful British period drama Downton Abbey cruising with Viking in 2021 will be given exclusive access to explore one of its filming locations at Highclere Castle, thanks to a new partnership struck between the cruise line and Focus Features, Universal Pictures & Carnival Films.

The five-day cruise extension explores famous filming locations from the hit British TV show and was launched in celebration of the release of the new full-length film of the same name, in local cinemas tomorrow.

The add-on will be available on Viking’s Rhine Getaway river cruise itinerary and British Isles Explorer ocean cruise itinerary.

The program also includes a visit to Broughton Castle, home to the influential Fiennes family.
