NCL now bottle-free

NORWEGIAN Cruise Line (NCL) has eliminated all singleuse plastic bottles across its entire fleet after announcing the key sustainability objective last year (CW 30 Sep 2019).

The cruise line said that instead of plastic bottles it is now providing its guests with bottles from JUST, a company that manufactures bottles comprised from 82% renewable materials.

NCL is also aiming to eliminate all plastic shampoo bottles later this year, as part of its Sail & Sustain Environmental Program.
