Cruise death in Tas

A CRUISE ship passenger who had disembarked from Holland America Line’s Maasdam vessel in Burnie was killed in a road accident over the weekend.

Eighty-nine-year-old Rimma Bogdanova was hit by a bus shortly after leaving the ship, with Burnie Deputy Mayor Giovanna Simpson labelling the incident “a tragedy for family and friends and all of those on the ship”.
