1 Safe style

French brand Ekoi has a new range of road kit designed to get you seen and help keep you safe. The new short sleeve jersey is made in Italy and features a blend of highly breathable mesh panels on the back and underarms, with a thicker blend front for wind protection.

2 Simple signage

On the back, alongside the three traditional pockets, is a Share The Road graphic, illustrating the recommended overtake distance for cars. The jersey is available with graphics for both left and right-hand drive countries and in both imperial and metric distances (5ft/1.5m).

3 Protection included

Ekoi also has a neat new electronic warning widget, which sits alongside the clothing range, and comes as standard with its Competition 10 winter jackets. The tiny 7g electronic button, nicknamed MonSherif, clips onto the bibshort straps of any Ekoi shorts.

4 The Sherifs are coming

Connect MonSherif to your mobile phone via a dedicated app, and if you click the button in the event of a crash or emergency it will send an SMS and an alert call to up to ve people, also allowing geo-positioning. It can activate an alarm that runs for an hour, hopefully drawing the attention of other road users. Thanks to a con gurable, via the app, smart code sticker (ID VITAE) the emergency services will have easy and immediate access to your vital information such as blood type, prescribed medication and allergies, by reading the sticker’s QR code.
