Canyon Ultimate WMN CF SLX Disc 8.0 Team CSR

£2699

-

One of the first Canyon bikes to feature women’s specific geometry, the Ultimate WMN is notable for its impressively light weight, the fact you can have a bike with the same SLX carbon frame as the pros but for a much lower price… and, of course, the eye-catching Canyon// SRAM team livery.

It feels fast and urgent in action yet with a degree of comfort that’s surprising for an aggressive bike, due in part to the road chatterabsorbing VCLS seatpost.

Throw it around corners and it feels planted and stable with the grip afforded by the Schwalbe Pro One tubeless tyres confident and assured, encouraging you to charge harder each time.

At 7.38kg, it’s the second lightest bike on test overall, thanks to the lightweight wheels, components and tubeless tyre setup.

SRAM Force offers smooth shifting, and a large range (11-32) gives you plenty of scope for pacing your energy over long or steep climbs, while the hydraulic discs with flat-mount callipers, with pre-adjusted reach offer smooth, powerful braking. The result is a system that doesn’t fatigue hands and arms on long descents.

Sizing now extends to XXS, which means the Ultimate range covers riders from 152cm to 186cm (4ft 9in to 6ft 1in) with size specific parts, including 650b wheels on the two smallest sizes.
