This is the third-generation Team Machine, and the SLR02 shares the

same frame design and shape as the brand’s flagship £10,000 SLR01 we loved last year. To bring it down to more realistic pricing levels, the 02 uses a more cost-effective carbon fibre layup.

The SLR02 has the wonderfully snappy handling of the 01, and covers ground with speed. but doesn’t have the same ability to shake off bumps in the road. It’s an exciting performer, you just know you’re riding a firm bike. It shines on climbs; its aggressive ride position allowing you to punch up short, steep slopes from the saddle.
