We were fans of the previous two generations of Dutch brand Sensa’s

Guilia. The new Evo shakes things up using Sensa’s top-grade carbon built into an angular, aero-optimised design.

ThenewShimanoUltegragroupset works well and we like that Sensa has opted for a 52/36 combined with an 11-28 gearing combination. The Evo is at its best when you put the power down, its muscular and firm frame responding with a real snap. The direct-mount brakes offer superb stopping power and feel too. At the time of writing the Evo was reduced to £2079 through Merlin Cycles, making it a veritable bargain.
