FEEDBACK TEAM EDITION TOOL KIT

£300

-

Case

Feedback Sports’ Team Edition toolkit comes in a light but tough, zipped TPU nyloncoated case, which can be braced open by a folding spar, and attached firmly to most freestanding seatpostclamping workstands. With its drop-down flaps, its maximum size is 60x43cm.

Tools

Inside are 19 very high quality tools with 25 functions, and there’s room for additional tools, such as individual hex keys. A trio of Y-shaped tools cover 2-6mm hex and T25-T30 Torx, and L-shaped 8mm and 10mm hex give extra leverage. Chunky steel core tyre levers incorporating disc pad spreaders, valve core and extender removers, a dualended pick and disc rotor truing tools aren’t common, and the multi-size spoke key, three screwdrivers, and 15mm double-sided pedal spanner and axle nut wrench increase usefulness.

Handling

The dense rubber handles with file tread grip sections are generous and comfortable, helping the combined cable cutters and crimpers, and the excellent cassette pliers, to feel good in the hand. The highly polished finish of four tools, including the Shimano cassette lockring and bottom bracket wrench, feels satisfying and lasts well.

Value

Quality isn’t cheap, but this is a superb kit to start a small workshop or for event use. There’s also room to add some personal favourites.
